The Greatest Story Never Told

I wish I could sit down one day and just start writing the best story ever written. It would be a story people of all ages would enjoy so much they would reread it over and over again. Literature classes in all schools would require it on their reading lists but every student will have already read it. In fact, they will know it by heart. And everyone will have seen the trilogy of movies made. Movies made from it with almost no changes whatsoever because it would be made under my creative control as to keep the story’s integrity and avoiding Hollywoodizing. Yes, I would be a billionaire and open my own theme park based on the story. Children and adults would come from around the world to be a part of the experience. And years later, when I passed away, there would be a great day of mourning and remembrance of me. Candlelight vigils would be convened in every city of the world. Everyone would stop and pay their respects to me, the greatest author of all time. The Pope would be quoted, “This story is greater than the greatest story ever told!”

Oh well, I gotta go do the dishes.
